The Directorate of Tourism, Creative Economy, and Digital Economy is currently seeking talented individuals for contract positions to support the Sustainable and Quality Tourism Development Program (SQTDP), a strategic endeavor executed in collaboration with the World Bank. ## Position Overview: Secretariat and Substantive Support Staff
Bappenas is looking to fill two (2) contract-based positions (non-ASN) for a duration of 10 months. This role places successful candidates at the heart of administrative coordination and substantive project execution for the SQTDP initiative.
Core Responsibilities
Selected candidates will play an integral role in driving the program forward. The daily scope of work encompasses:
* Facilitating seamless administrative workflows and coordinating the overall implementation of the SQTDP.
* Assisting in the drafting, compilation, processing, and comprehensive documentation of technical and substantive program materials.
* Ensuring absolute completeness and rigorous compliance for all documents required throughout the SQTDP project lifecycle.
* Supporting review processes and quality assurance standards for documents submitted to secure the No Objection Letter (NOL) from the World Bank.
* Tracking, managing, and ensuring timely follow-ups on feedback, inputs, and requirements mandated by the World Bank and relevant stakeholders.
* Bridging communication and fostering robust coordination between the Directorate, the SQTDP team, the World Bank, various ministries and government institutions, local regional governments, and broader stakeholders.
## Candidate Qualifications
To thrive in this dynamic environment, applicants must meet the following baseline criteria:
* Educational Background: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Urban and Regional Planning (Planology) or Economics.
* Academic Achievement: Minimum Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.00 on a 4.00 scale. Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
* Language Proficiency: Strong command of the English language, verified by minimum test scores of:
* TOEFL ITP: 500
* TOEFL iBT: 80
* TOEFL Prediction: 500
* Professional Status: Must not currently hold civil servant (ASN) status, nor be active members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) or the Indonesian National Police (Polri). Must not possess a Civil Servant Identification Number (NIP).
Preferred Competencies (Added Value)
While not mandatory, candidates possessing the following backgrounds will receive strong preference:
* Demonstrated experience in organizational leadership, academic research, relevant projects, or professional internships.
* Prior working experience or internships with the Ministry of National Development Planning/Bappenas, the World Bank, or other international development institutions.
* Specialized exposure to tourism, development economics, regional planning, sustainable development, public policy, or international development cooperation.
