## Job Overview: Environmental Engineer
* Position Title: Environmental Engineer
* Total Vacancies: 2 (Two) Open Positions
* Work Locations: Satui Site and Asam Asam Site (South Kalimantan)
* Core Objective: Ensure all site activities fully comply with AMDAL guidelines, statutory mandates, and internal environmental standards.
The selected candidate will take charge of planning, executing, monitoring, evaluating, and reporting comprehensive environmental programs across site operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Reclamation & Mine Closure: Formulate and execute land rehabilitation, re-vegetation, and progressive mine closure projects in alignment with regulatory frameworks.
* Water Resource Management: Manage surface run-off, mine water treatment systems, and settling ponds to prevent ecosystem degradation.
* Hazardous Material Control: Oversee the handling, storage, tracking, and disposal of hazardous waste and toxic substances on site.
* Regulatory Compliance & Auditing: Prepare, conduct, and support environmental audits while ensuring strict adherence to AMDAL guidelines and Indonesian environmental laws.
* Data Processing & Reporting: Process complex environmental monitoring data and prepare accurate, regular technical reports for internal management and governmental agencies.
Candidate Qualifications and Requirements
* Education: Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Environmental Engineering, Forestry Engineering, or a related discipline.
* Experience: Maximum of 3 years of functional experience in environmental management within mining or heavy industrial sectors.
* Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of reclamation processes, mine closure concepts, environmental management systems (EMS), and current statutory environmental regulations.
* Software Proficiency: Proven ability to utilize technical software including ArcGIS, Agisoft, Minescape, and the standard Microsoft Office suite.
* Core Competencies: Strong analytical thinking, high-level data management, polished communication abilities, and persuasive negotiation skills.
* Personal Attributes: Fast learner with strong interpersonal, organizational, and team leadership capabilities.
* Ethical Alignment: High level of commitment toward industrial safety standards, environmental conservation, business ethics, and Good Corporate Governance (GCG).
