## About the Role: Safety Officer (Geothermal)
As a dedicated Safety Officer within the Truelogs Group, you will serve as the frontline guardian of operational integrity and regulatory compliance. Your primary mission is to foster a proactive safety culture, ensuring that every phase of geothermal operations adheres strictly to rigorous Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
Core Responsibilities and Duties
To excel in this position, you will manage a diverse portfolio of daily safety operations, documentation, and on-site oversight. Key responsibilities include:
* Risk Assessment & Documentation: Formulate comprehensive Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Task Risk Assessment (TRA) documents prior to the commencement of any operational tasks.
* Equipment Compliance: Conduct rigorous inspections of work machinery and tools, rigorously verifying that all operational certifications remain valid and current.
* Personal Protective Equipment Enforcement: Guarantee that all personnel on-site are properly equipped with complete and certified Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
* Permit Management: Streamline the workflow by preparing, submitting, and eventually closing out Permit to Work (PTW) documentation seamlessly.
* Hazard Detection & Monitoring: Perform critical $H_2S$ gas measurements before initiating work routines to maintain a hazard-free environment.
* Team Alignment: Lead engaging Pre-Job Safety Meetings (PJS) to align the workforce on daily hazards and safety protocols.
* Active Supervision: Monitor ongoing work execution continuously, ensuring absolute adherence to established HSE standards.
* Data Management & Reporting: Keep accurate field records of all HSE activities, compile detailed HSE performance reports, and deliver impactful safety training and awareness programs to field personnel.
## Candidate Qualifications and Requirements

* Documentation Expertise: Proven capability to draft precise JSA and Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Determining Control (HIRADC) documents.
