## Current Professional Openings
PT Vale is currently seeking qualified, motivated professionals to join our team in South Sulawesi. We are looking for individuals who share our commitment to innovation, safety, and sustainable mining practices.
1. Mine Engineer
The Mine Engineer role is critical to the company’s success, focusing on the strategic planning, scheduling, and high-quality design of mining operations to meet long-term objectives.
* Optimize mineral reserves and maximize the economic value of projects (IRR and NPV) while upholding Good Mining Practices.
* Develop comprehensive mining hill designs based on geological data, including block models, ore zones, and grade distribution.
* Perform conceptual pit design, factoring in drainage requirements, equipment capabilities, stripping ratios, and disposal capacities.
* Create actionable short-term, medium-term, and long-term mine plans, including detailed production schedules and operational expenditure (Opex/Capex) estimates.
* Manage the mine budget process, ensuring the optimization of resources, supplies, and service contracts.
* Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Mining Engineering.
* Minimum of 4 years of relevant field experience.
* Possession of a Pengawas Operational Pratama (POP) certification.
* Technical proficiency in mine design and scheduling software (e.g., Vulcan, Surpac, Deswik, Whittle, MineMax, MineSched).
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to deliver impactful presentations.
2. Junior Geologist
The Junior Geologist provides essential support for mineral resource evaluation and mining activities, ensuring the highest standards of ore quality and geological data integrity.
* Conduct routine field surveys, geological mapping, and infill drilling to maintain ore quality standards.
* Oversee the entire sampling process from the mine site to the laboratory to prevent contamination and ensure representative results.
* Coordinate with heavy equipment operators to ensure the extraction of high-quality materials and minimize waste.
* Perform systematic audits on contractor performance, sampling stations, and laboratory data to implement continuous improvements.
* Validate geological and production data, preparing daily reports that offer management actionable insights for operational decision-making.
* Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Geological Engineering.
* Minimum of 2 years of relevant field experience.
* Pengawas Operational Pratama (POP) certification is highly preferred.
* Competency in standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
