## Role Overview: Analyst, Logistics Operations
PT SC Johnson and Son Indonesia is currently seeking a talented Analyst, Logistics Operations to join the team. Based in Surabaya, this permanent, full-time position carries vital responsibilities for managing finished goods distribution centers.
The successful candidate will lead a dedicated team consisting of six SC Johnson employees and seven contractors. Operating within a 2,200-pallet position storage facility utilizing a non-Warehouse Management System (WMS), this role requires driving exceptional warehouse productivity, maintaining rigorous quality mindsets, and ensuring strict compliance audits. Above all, you will spearhead continuous improvement initiatives focusing on cost optimization and streamlined processes, with workplace safety held as the absolute paramount priority.
## Essential Duties and Responsibilities
As a Logistics Operations Analyst, your day-to-day responsibilities will be diverse and impactful, encompassing:
* Delivery & Distribution Supervision: Oversee daily domestic customer deliveries and finished goods transfers to Regional Distribution Centers (RDCs).
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with sales teams, customer fulfillment, manufacturing, and supply planning to ensure flawless execution toward monthly sales targets.
* Performance Analytics: Monitor warehouse operational metrics regarding cost and productivity, conduct thorough root-cause analyses, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
* Cost Management & Innovation: Act as co-owner of cost management, actively driving cost-saving initiatives in transportation and warehousing.
* Compliance & Safety: Uphold stringent Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE), quality, and regulatory compliance standards across all operations.
* Process Optimization: Manage periodic cycle counts, oversee slow-moving inventory, maximize throughput productivity, and ensure accurate finished goods movement within SAP.
* Team Leadership: Foster continuous improvement, develop staff capabilities, and nurture leadership skills among direct reports in alignment with regional development programs.
* Vendor Relations: Maintain strong supplier relationships through effective management practices.
## Required Skills, Experience, and Competencies

* Education: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in any related discipline. A background in Industrial Engineering or a closely related technical field is strongly preferred.
* Experience: Bring a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working in warehouse operations or logistics management.
